Next year, starting 25th/26th of August, 2018, Ultra Trail Wales will be make its debut in North Wales set in some of Wales’ most iconic landscape – the mountains of Snowdonia, a world renowned estuary and the majesty of Wales’ greatest forest.
Starting and finishing in Dolgelleau over 50 miles (80km) and with over 3700m / 12,200ft of elevation gain, the event is set to be a challenging addition to the Welsh ultra calendar.
I believe ultrarunning can be and is, for many people, a transformative experience. I hope to inspire and encourage runners from all levels of abilities to stretch themselves and discover what they truly are capable of achieving in the running world.
To that end we produce a free online magazine, Ultrarunning World, from material produced mostly by ultrarunners from around the globe offering insight and experience from all kinds of ultras and multidays.
