The Gower 50 ultra started at 07:30 on Saturday 7th October 2017 from the event base at the St Madoc Centre – on the North West corner of the Gower Peninsular. The course circumnavigates the peninsular and has a 16.5 hour cut-off.

The race was won by Andrew Jones in 8:13 and the women’s race was won by Emma Williams in 9:21.
